KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Domestic violence will be addressed at a University of Tennessee College of Social Work’s continuing education program for professionals in Muscle Shoals, Ala.

Sergeant Mark Wynn will discuss the dynamics of domestic violence at 8-11:30 a.m., Aug. 21, at the Tennessee Valley Authority Environmental Research Center auditorium. The workshop is free.

Wynn, a 17-year member of the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department of Davidson County, will present a working model of prevention from which he has established the largest domestic violence unit in the country.

With Wynn will be an experienced panel of local domestic violence professionals who will address legal and systematic prevention efforts.
