WUOT Airs Endangered Species Special Sunday (120)
KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– “Life On the Brink,” which explores threats to Earth’s plant and animal species, will air at noon Sunday, April 14, on WUOT-FM.
A “sound journey exploring biodiversity among the endangered wildlife and plants,” the National Public Radio special focuses on the fragile balance between humanity and plant and animal species. The one-hour digital stereo broadcast is a joint production of NPR and the National Geographic Society.
“In this radio special we will hear the voice of animals we stand to lose, and come to appreciate what the dying-off of wildlife may mean for all of us,” executive producer Bob Radcliffe said.
WUOT, public radio station at the University of Tennessee, is at 91.9 MHz on the FM dial.
