KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Registration for two lunchtime book discussions led by University of Tennessee faculty begins on Monday, Feb. 12, at the Lawson-McGhee Library.

 Dr. Michael Handelsman, UT-Knoxville professor of romance and Asian languages, will lead discussions on two books by Latin American authors: “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabrial Garcia Marquez; and “The House of the Spirits” by Isabel Allende.

 These “Lunch and Learn”programs, sponsored by the library and UT-Knoxville’s College of Arts and Sciences, will be held at noon on March 14 and April 11 in the library’s meeting room. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. Copies of the books, a reading guide and the discussions are provided to participants without charge. Anyone interested may register during regular library hours.
