KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Degrees will be awarded to 1080 students Saturday at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville’s fall commencement.

Paula F. Casey, University of Tennessee alumna, women’s issues advocate and freelance writer, will deliver the commencement address. The ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Thompson-Boling Arena. UT President Joseph E. Johnson will confer the degrees.

The following undergraduate degrees, by college, will be awarded:

Agricultural sciences and natural resources, 87; arts and sciences, 341; business administration, 160; communications, 28; education, 51; engineering, 86; human ecology, 60; and social work, 1.

Other degrees to be conferred also include: law, 11; masters, 198; doctor of philosophy, 53; doctor of education, 3; and specialist in education, 1.
