Dean Richard Wisniewski will announce a three-year educational initiative at the College of Education faculty convocation Tuesday, Sept. 4. Chancellor John Quinn and Anne Dowling of Philip Morris Companies will also speak. Philip Morris is joining the university in sponsoring the new program.
The convocation begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Shiloh Room of the University Center. Dr. Wisniewski estimates discussion of the new program will begin at about 3 p.m., and the media are welcome to come into the meeting at anytime. The dean, Dr. Quinn and Ms. Dowling will be available after the meeting, at about 3:30, for interviews.
