KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Jeff Long, a fifth-year University of Tennessee-Knoxville architecture student, has won a national fellowship for study in Germany.

Long, of Tobaccoville, N.C., won a fellowship from the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program, a year-long study and work exchange.

Kevin Gentry of Weaverville, N.C., and Darren Vickery of Yardley, Pa., also received honors this year. The fourth-year UT students won special mention in a national design competition sponsored by the American Institute of Architecture Students and the National Science Foundation.
